About Us
Meet Grecia
My caregiving journey began in 1970 when I helped care for my father-in-law after he began experiencing dementia in his seventies. That experience changed my life and opened my heart to caring for others in a deeper way.
After his passing, my husband and I continued traveling between Hawaii and the mainland to help care for family members. Eventually, we decided to make Hawaii our permanent home. Shortly after, a neighbor reached out and asked if I would help care for a friend, and that opportunity became my very first professional caregiving position.
What began as helping family and friends quickly became my life’s calling. Although I did not have formal credentials or a college degree, I had compassion, patience, understanding, and a genuine love for helping others. Over the years, I gained valuable experience working closely with families, doctors, hospital case managers, trust officers, attorneys, and healthcare professionals to ensure each client received thoughtful and compassionate care.
As my experience grew, I created my own caregiving referral service with the help of a wonderful hānai daughter who supported me in building a website and organizing the business properly.
Now, as a senior myself, my passion has evolved into helping both caregivers and families connect with one another so their loved ones can receive the quality care, dignity, and companionship they deserve. I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust, and it brings me joy to continue helping others through this work.
